Penina Schleider is the artist behind Art by Penina, a wife, mother of 6, and artist from her heart. Her first memories are sitting and drawing, turning into her passion today. She creates light-filled, faith-inspired paintings that are displayed in galleries and private homes around the world. Her work comes from a very deep place of connection with Hashem and true love to Torah and Eretz hakodesh. Her work weaves Emunah, meaning, and calm energy into Jewish homes through light, strokes, luminous color, and texture. Her mission is to connect the viewer to his neshoma, to his beautiful journey, and to Hashem. She also creates custom commissions—and truly loves the process of bringing a client’s vision to life.

My journey as an artist began at a young age, when I would spend hours absorbed in sketching everything around me, immersed in a world of pen and paper. Not much has changed since then. Today, each of my paintings is a kaleidoscope of color, emotion, and personal growth, seamlessly coming together to uplift the soul. During my teenage years and beyond, I had the privilege of studying art under renowned artists in Jerusalem. However, I believe my art is a gift from Hashem, transcending formal training. It is an intrinsic part of who I am. When I paint, I feel the artwork come to life, building itself as though I am merely holding the brush, learning from and enjoying the journey it takes me on. Penina’s art graces homes worldwide, becoming a cherished centerpiece that evokes admiration and sparks conversation.
